FloridaRAMA is seeking a Ticket Sales Specialist to sell tickets to the immersive art experience with a concentration on tourism groups, family memberships, corporate employee benefits, field trips, and corporate team building events. Tickets sales will include single day tickets, special event or entertainment tickets, and creation of ticket bundles with local partners.  If you are sales driven, have a passion for art and entertainment, and love to bring joy to people’s lives through experiences, this is a position for you!

Responsibilities

• Selling ticket options over the phone or in person, through appointments at FloridaRAMA
• Marketing of ticket packages and events to drive ticket sales
• Manage and facilitate promotions at local events, markets, and festivals to drive ticket sales
• Develop partnerships with local groups including tourism, schools, summer camps, corporate partners, and professional organizations.
• Create ticket packages to drive sales through fundraising, city partners, and existing database
• Provide tours of the immersive art museum for large tour groups
• Customer Service for any ticket related inquires
• Maintaining client information in company CRM platform
• Training experience staff for client’s needs during their visit
• Upsell for in experience games, merchandise, and food and beverage options
• Maintain ticket reports to track sales
• Establish referral program to generate sales

Requirements

• Passion for a career in sales and the arts
• Ability to represent the company at networking events which may include public speaking
• Phone sales skills including cold calling
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Must be sell driven to success of sales
• Proven track record of past sales experience and achieving goals
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and be a team player
• Ability to communicate with all departments to execute client’s needs

Nice to Haves

• Sales, Ticketing, Hospitality, Tourism, Entertainment, Museum or Theme Park experience
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs and Drive)
• Experience with CRM systems

FloridaRAMA seeks an upbeat, enthusiastic and energetic customer-focused individual to join our Guest Experience team. In this position, you will make all guests feel welcome and help meet their needs throughout their journey. You will perform entry-level duties that include customer service, maintenance and retail store functions. All Guest Experience Guides will be cross-trained to work in various areas throughout FloridaRAMA, but will focus on a particular task during their shift. The ideal candidate is passionate about engaging with the public to provide remarkable experiences at Tampa Bay’s first destination for experiencing immersive art and technology. Responsibilities

• Upselling add-on experiences, memberships, merchandise, and tickets
• Driving retail sales
• Consistently offering professional, friendly greetings and engaging customer service to all visitors and guests 
• Maintain a positive attitude towards guests, co-workers and the leadership team
• Contribute to the guest’s experience by anticipating their needs and offering information
• Scan and verify tickets upon entry
• Ensure the safety of all guests, keep Fairgrounds St. Pete clear of hazards
• Direct guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
• Provide assistance to guests with special needs
• Promote Fairgrounds St. Pete events and memberships through word of mouth or social media
• Maintain clean and organized displays making sure inventory levels are adequate

Requirements

• Minimum age 17
• Must have ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work under pressure with a heightened sense of urgency
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and be a team player
• Have a growth mindset
• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and may require the use of a ladder
• 1 year of experience using a hand held device (mobile phone, ipad, ipod or tablet)
• Able to occasionally lift up to 40lbs.

Nice to Haves

• Retail, Hospitality, Museum or Theme Park experience
• Previous cash-handling experience

• We provide a flexible work schedule with 15 – 20 hours per week, weekend availability is required
